Bible Verses (2 April – 30 April 2012)

“but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint..” (Isaiah 40:31)

This is a promise of God filled with strength and hope. Although we do not know what will happen tomorrow, as long as we keep praying, God will lead us through difficult roads.

26 April 2012

“38 Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Mark 14:38)
Through prayers you are communicating with God and through prayers you are experiencing Him for His blessings. Only through prayers you would know what to do when temptation comes.

24 April 2012

“2 With all my resources I have provided for the temple of my God—gold for the gold work, silver for the silver, bronze for the bronze, iron for the iron and wood for the wood, as well as onyx for the settings, turquoise, stones of various colors, and all kinds of fine stone and marble—all of these in large quantities.” (1 Chronicles 29:2)

King David showed a good example of providing resources for God’s temple even though he was told he would not be building it. We should learn from this spirit to pray for God’s ministries in the world.

18 April 2012

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever..” (1 Chronicles 16:34)
Often we overlook how much God has blessed us. Hence we should give thanks to the Lord always!

17 April 2012

“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (1 John 4:8)
Love is the central part of Christianity. Since we are God’s children, we should love one another.

5 April 2012

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed..” (Isaiah 53:5)

Jesus came to the world and suffered on the cross was an demonstration of God’s love for us.

4 April 2012

“12 Who, then, are those who fear the LORD? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.” (Psalm 25:12)
While we wish to have a wonderful life and smooth journey and often it does not deliver, God’s grace and mercy are sufficient for us to get through!

2 April 2012

“I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.” (Psalm 69:30)
It would be good to learn from the psalmist of the way singing praises to God. It will give us the joy and peace.
