The IMB Community Foundation was established in 1999 to provide financial support to community initiated projects. Since its inception the IMB Community Foundation has granted more than $6 million to support almost 350 projects within our local communities. The Community Foundation supports a diverse range of project themes with a wide variety of objectives.
This year’s funded projects will benefit a wide range of community groups including mental health projects, educational courses and senior community involvement.
As one of the eight organisations in ACT/Goulburn region that successfully applied for the 2012 funding, ACCEPA appreciated the financial support from the IMB Community Foundation for its “Happy Singing and Dancing” project.
ACCEPA has been conducting Chinese music and dance classes and the funding received from IMB will enable ACCEPA to purchase proper costumes and dance materials for its dancers and performers to be ready for the forthcoming performances at Multicultural and Community festivals and important ACT and National celebrations.
