ACCEPA Received 2015 IMB Community Foundation Funding

The IMB Community Foundation was established in 1999 to provide financial support to community groups with positive ideas and concepts to help them convert their ideas into working projects.

Since its inception, the IMB Community Foundation has granted around $7.6 million to support 500 projects with a diverse range of themes and purposes throughout our local communities.

The Foundation supports projects that reflect its objectives, which include enhancing the economic self-sufficiency of communities, as well as generating economic, social, cultural, environmental, tourism and educational benefits for those communities.

As one of the organisations in ACT/Goulburn region that successfully applied for the 2015 funding, ACCEPA appreciated the financial support from the IMB Community Foundation for its “Dancing for Health and Fun” project.

ACCEPA has been conducting dance classes and the funding received from IMB will enable ACCEPA to purchase proper costumes and dance materials for its dancers and performers to be ready for the forthcoming performances at various Multicultural and Community festivals and important ACT and National celebrations.

As the initiator of the ACCEPA “Dancing for Health and Fun” project, Dr Ting Lu represented ACCEPA  to accept the 2015 IMB funding and her acceptance speech can be viewed through the following link:
