‘Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you.’ (Job 22:21)
Even though Job experienced great sufferings and pain; he still believed affirmatively in God who would give him peace and prosperity.

“凡所行的，都不要發怨言、起爭論， 使你們無可指摘、誠實無偽，在這彎曲悖謬的世代，作神無瑕疵的兒女．你們顯在這世代中，好像明光照耀。”腓立比書2：14-15
抱怨、爭執是人的本性，但是既然已成為神的兒女，我們就不能忽視保羅的提醒。
‘Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, ‘children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.’ Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.’ (Philippians 2:14-15)
Although grumbling and arguing are part of our nature, the advice from Paul is that as the children of God, we can be different.

‘Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.’ (Hebrews 11:1)
Who do not have doubt in God’s promises? They are those who have either experienced God or great achievers.

忍耐的過程中最大的考驗是時間，我們只要是走在神的計劃底下，堅信神的信實，必不會半途而廢，徒勞無功。
‘You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.’ (Hebrews 10:36)
The crucial test of the waiting game is time. Be persevere and do not give up; walk along the will of the Lord!

主基督再來是肯定的事實；我們對這必定要發生的事情有多重視？是在努力作迎見主的預備？還是完全不當一回事？
‘Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.’ (Revelation 22:12)
The Lord Jesus is definitely coming back. How should we prepare for His second coming?

嫉妒人、抱怨神都是令我們遠離神、背叛神的罪。神必然會以公義行事，我們沒有生氣的必要。
‘Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes..’ (Isaiah 28:23)
Envying and complaining will lead us away from God and it is sin. We should have peace that the justice will be done.

不尋求智慧，不避免血氣衝動，怎會懂得安靜聆聽神的話，跟隨祂的引領？
‘Desire without knowledge is not good –how much more will hasty feet miss the way!’ (Proverbs 19:2)
Seek God’s wisdom with passion. Hence you’ll be able to follow His lead.

耶穌對信他的猶太人說，你們若常常遵守我的道，就真是我的門徒。你們必曉得真理， 真理必叫你們得以自由。”約翰福音8：31-32
謹守神的道，曉得真理以得自由，這都是我們今天所該做以及能夠獲得的，問題是我們有多重視神的吩咐？有多意識到真自由的珍貴？
‘To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’ (John 8:31-32)
Keep to God’s word in order to be set free if we are serious in God’s command and real freedom.

屬靈生命的成長是長流不竭的進程，不能等到被神管教的時候才來尋求或思考神的教誨。
‘Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unploughed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you’ (Hosea 10:12)
The journey of faith is a progressive path and we should be practicing the Word now.

人，很多時候在做了一些不該做的事情以後，以為能夠瞞天過海而沾沾自喜，然而詩人的親身體會再次提醒我們神是輕慢不得的神，祂不會以有罪為無罪。
‘Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?’ (Psalm 139:7)
Whatever we do maybe in secret, whatever we think or conspire in our hearts, God knows!

謙卑帶來順服，順服帶來祝福，這是聖經的教導，是不變的定律。
‘5 I will do whatever you say,’ Ruth answered.’ (Ruth 3:5)
Humbleness leads to obedience; obedience leads to receiving blessings. This is a Biblical principle.

敬畏是尊敬和畏懼；真正敬畏神的人會凡事謹慎地行走在神的教導和吩咐底下，努力完成神所交下的使命與計劃。
‘Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.,’ (Ecclesiastes 12:13)
Fear God means respect him with fear. Those who fear God will try their best to complete God’s mission and will for them.

当我们明白神的命令是爱的显示，力量的保证，祝福的邀请，成长的经历，同时也是一个享受神的慈爱和怜悯的机会时，顺服就会变成一种喜乐，神的恩典。
‘In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,’ (1 John 5:3)
God’s commandments are not burdensome; instead they are a blessing and love of God. When we keep his commands; we will enjoy His abundant grace.

Proper Biblical training will equip yourself well and at the same time help others.

神总以怜悯的慈爱来赦免我们的罪，然而祂的基本原则不会更改，那就是：顺服带来祝福，叛逆带来管教。
‘See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse ’ (Deuteronomy 11:26)
God’s grace is to forgive our sins. However, He would bless us more when we obey and discipline us more when we go astray.

软弱跌倒的原因，是我们自己远离了神的道，低估了仇敌的诡计，破坏的力量。
‘Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.’ (1 Peter 5:8)
The reason why we fall into temptation is because we are turning away from God and undermining the power of temptation.

表面的虚伪，既不能令人感动，也不会蒙神悦纳。
‘Do not eat the food of a stingy host, do not crave his delicacies for he is the kind of person who is always thinking about the cost. ‘Eat and drink,’ he says to you, but his heart is not with you.’ (Proverbs 23:6-7)
God knows everyone’s heart. Our ultimate intention reflects in our heart and God knows it.

When we keep watch out for the touch of the Holy Spirit, and listen to God’s teaching; we will be further humbled.

“他没有按我们的罪过待我们，也没有照我们的罪孽报应我们。” 诗篇103：10
不论人如何违抗神的旨意，祂永远信守着自己的应许，只不过在神完成祂的计划时，人会因为自己的悖逆而失去原来该有的祝福，因为神是信实，却也是完全的公义。
‘he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. (Psalm 103:10)
Remember God is just and righteousness. He will keep his promises even though men are disobedient to His will. Judgement will come at the final days.

人会失约背信，但是信实慈爱的神所给予我们的应许，是恒久不变的保障。
‘Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,’ says the Lord, who has compassion on you. (Isaiah 54:10)
Man’s promises can be broken but the promises given by our loving Father will never be broken.

God never abandons anyone who seek him. It is up to us how sincere and serious in our faith.

“ 耶稣醒了．斥责风，向海说，住了罢，静了罢．风就止住，大大的平静了。” 马可福音 4：39
如果耶稣不是神，祂不可能制止海上的风浪；既然耶稣是真神，是我们所信靠的满有慈爱的主，我们何需忧心戚戚、愁眉苦脸的度日呢？
“39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.” (Mark 4:39)
Jesus showed his divine power to stop the storm. Knowing that Jesus is God, we should be positive in our daily walk with him.

内涵胜过外表。神所看重的亦是我们众人的内心，祂所称许的是我们诚实的心灵，虔敬的事奉。
“Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” (Proverbs 31:29)
Inner strength is better than outer appearance. God sees our heart and commends our honest worship.

丰盛的祝福，人人翘首以待，但是不肯谦卑顺从、谨守神吩咐的人，怎么可能讨神喜悦？
“Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being?” declares the Lord.
“These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word.” (Isaiah 66:2)

“我拿甚么报答耶和华向我所赐的一切厚恩。”诗篇116:12
神赐下生命好让我们去享受一切，其中有喜乐、有平安、有盼望、有丰盛的恩典；可惜我们经常是有贪婪而没有满足，有抱怨而没有以感恩的心去奉献自己。
“12 What shall I return to the Lord for all his goodness to me?.” (Psalm 116:12)
We should be grateful of all the blessings from God such as joy, peace, hope and abundance of grace. Be thankful and offer yourself to God.
Everyone longs for God’s blessings. In order to be pleasing to God, we should be humble and adhered to His words.

“在指望中要喜乐．在患难中要忍耐。祷告要恒切．”罗马书12：12
如果我们在等候、艰辛的过程懂得保持平和的心与神同行，就会少去许多焦虑和抱怨，更重要的是能够讨神喜悦和赞许。
“12 Be joyful in hope,patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” (Romans 12:12)
It is important that we have the hope, patient in God while we are in suffering or waiting. It will help us focus on Jesus rather than the suffering. Do everything in prayers that pleases Him!

『这百姓用嘴唇尊敬我，心却远离我．他们将人的吩咐，当作道理教导人，所以拜我也是枉然。』马太福音15:8-9
心口不一的信心自然会忽视了神的神性与权柄，这既不是跟随神的态度，也不是新生命的表现。
“These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.” (Matthew 15:8-9)
Take heed! Our daily walk with God should be consistent with our belief.

“神是个灵，所以拜他的，必须用心灵和诚实拜他。”约翰福音4：24
当年以色列人所献的祭，必须是完美无瑕的羔羊或牛犊；今天我们要蒙神悦纳的敬拜，必须是没有杂质的虔敬与真诚。
“24 God is spirit,(A) and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24)
Israelites used to sacrifice the unblemished lamb in their offering to the Lord. We too should be sincere and staying pure in our hearts and minds when we worship God.

有神与我们同行的日子，不管是万里晴空或是风雨飘摇，我们都应该喜乐面对一切。
“The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.” (Psalm 118:24)
With God on our side, our daily living will be full of joy whether it be a sunshine or a rainy day.
